To the family of Richard (Billy) Trussell,
You do not know me. I got to know Richard (Billy) when his dad coached me in baseball back in 1967. Billy and I were in the same class at Northside. He came over to my house one day for the purpose of practicing for a musical band. The funny thing about that was neither one of us knew how to play a musical instrument. Needless to say, that was our first and last practice. Years later, I ran into Billy while attending Georgia Tech (I graduated in 75 as a Civil Engineer). I'm glad to hear he did well with his Aerospace degree. He and I discussed that while at Tech. He was concerned because aerospace grads were not in great demand back then. He was a nice guy and was a good influence on my life. I'm just writing this now because I saw the announcement in the Tech Topics. You may know my nephew Jason Hunt who also goes to Green Acres. Coach Trussell may not remember me, but tell him his 1967 shortstop says hello. I'm sorry for your loss. Ronnie Young, Cumming, Georgia.
