My husband Paul and I met Brenda in Jerusalem a few years ago and we noticed at once her serene and gentle character. She was kind, generous and helpful to us at our busy guest house.
We thank and praise Jesus for her life and testimony.
Rest in Peace, Rise in Glory!
I met Brenda in Jerusalem whilst visiting Sarah, John and Lily. She was a truly beautiful person who sought to help and bless others every day. Her memory will continue to inspire us.
We will miss you but know with certainty that you abide with our heavenly Father. He said well done thy good and faithful servant!!
I attended Brenda's funeral, and I left sad for her suffering and death. But it made such an impression as to how she was praised for the way she won others to Christ. As a Christan,I realized this is what God commands us to do, and Brenda left this earth with many jewels in her crown to place at the feet of her Heavenly Father. What a testimony!
My deepest sympathies with Brenda's family.
I knew Brenda when we were in high school, and had not seen nor heard of her the past 49 years. Looked on the high school alumni web page today and found her name. She was always sweet and friendly back then. Now I see she has graduated to the highest place, with our Lord now.
You was on my mind for two weeks and I could not stop thinking about you. I wanted to talk to you ,but your name and number wasn't in the telephone book.Love you always.
Of all the patients I met she was by far the most positive one. She spoke freely of her faith and wasn't afraid to share it with anyone. I know she is in a much better place. She was a special lady and will be missed.
I was so sorry to hear that Brenda has gone to her heavenly home. I knew Brenda from Houston Ave Assembly that is now known as Parkway Assembly; I always looked for her each time I went to church. She was the one who prayed with me so many years ago when I received the lord as my savior. I always looked up to her and now we all have a special angel to watch over us and will one day meet us at the gates of heaven when it is our time. Please know that she was well thought of and loved by all who knew her. I will miss seeing her smiling face at church. God Bless each one of you who mourn her passing this world we live in.
I am so sorry to hear of Brenda's passing; she will dearly be missed from all who knew her. She was truly a blessing and was a special person who always made you feel at home. She is in a much better place free of pain and sorrow and we will see her again one day.
Our deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Brenda! Cliff Powell, Butch and Lisa Burdick
Brenda was very important to me when she was one of the announcers on the local Christian radio station in Fort Valley. I also had the opportunity to work with her when she was a nurse at the mental health center in Macon and I was a social worker in adult mental health. I am so sorry to hear that we have lost her, but it is so good to know she is with Our Lord. I will keep the family in my prayers and will keep her in my memory.
Brenda will surely be missed. She was such a warrior for Christ. She literally knew what it meant to totally depend on God to sustain and provide for her. I know we grieve today for the loss of such a great woman as Brenda, but we can rejoice in the fact she is now in the presence of Christ never to suffer anymore. She was such a prayer warrior. The many times I heard her pray for others and for herself you could just feel God's presence around her. Words cannot express today how we will miss this dear saint of God!
Brenda was a good good friend of mine from the early 1980's. We got to know each other from church. Well, we lost touch over the years until I moved back to Macon from Japan after my husband died in 2006. We reconnected and she continued to be a great blessing to me. I'm heart broken to see her leave us but am so happy to know she's with our Heavenly Father and is wrapped up in His arms. She was a great blessing to everyone she met and I loved her dearly. Brenda... we miss you! Shirley Parker Bowman
Brenda is a beautiful friend whom I met August 25, 2012, in Franklin, NC. We bonded as sisters in Christ in our first conversation. I say she is a beautiful friend and sister as we will continue the joy of our relationship in Our Father's House. She spent time with us in our Abba's house in the mountains and I enjoyed her company in her house in Franklin and N.Augusta and Augusta. She has blessed me in so many ways, one of which is teaching me to say, "I am blessed!" when asked "How are you?" She took me to the Forgiving Forward Seminar in Augusta where we partnered in prayer and coaching each other in forgiveness. Because of Brenda, I have shared this important teaching about Jesus'words on forgiveness with many people and the DVD Seminar is now going on in our church in Highlands. Her life glorifies our Lord, now and forever. Her passing reminds me of the saying, "This little life will soon be past,
Only what's done for Christ will last."
Jarrod, Sorry to hear about Aunt B. We know how much she meant to you. Love, Granie and Sissy
I will miss Brenda greatly. I will never forget her passion and dedication to The Lord. I rejoice in knowing that on that great day I will see her again!
So sorry for the family's loss. She was a great lady who will be missed by many.
Have not seen or heard from Brenda in over a decade & a half, however, a Facebook friend mentioned that she had passed away. I thought of the fact that she was just my age. Always strong in faith, I feel sure that Brenda is right up there in heaven watching over all of us left behind. Whenever I lose a person I care for, I take comfort in this... the promise of eternal life with our departed loved ones becomes the gift of hope. We will be reunited again one day.
It is so sad to hear about Brenda. She was such a dear and gracious person. I knew her from Parkway Assembly Church. I'm sure she will be missed by many. My prayers are with her family during this time.
Brenda - we will miss you, but all of us are comforted to know that you are with the Lord. Our elementary and high school gatherings will not be the same without your good spirit and friendship. I am praying for your family and friends in this time of loss.
You were loved dearly and we willl miss you as a Sunday School teacher to my child. As my co-worker and a friend to all of us.
I had the pleasure of meeting Brenda for the first time over a year ago and it was like we had always known each other. She was such a gracious person and loved my many. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this time. ~God Bless~
