RIP Duke as he was called by everyone that new him, the reason, I believe, was that he was always a Cowboy are heart. Terrie and I met Duke and Miss Mary in 2007 we needed a place to live with our horses. Duke told me that he would sell me a spot of land if I helped him get his Horse Ride part started; he stated that the place had to be named Mingo Trails. With the Duke's leadership Mingo Trails Saddle Club was founded and over the next two years and many, many man hours later Mingo Trails had its first trail ride in Oct. of 2009 and Mingo has been a great success and continues to grow. Duke was always proud of Mingo Trails and what it meant to the horse world and their family's he has left behind a treasure for us all to enjoy. Duke you were loved by all that new you and will be missed so greatly by all your family and friends. From all your friends at Mingo Trails Saddle Club we love you and will always miss your presents.
To the Duke family, I am so very sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers. He was a great man and had a great family to show for it.
Ms. Mary, Alan, Pattie and to the entire family of Mr. Duke, my heart goes out to you. You can rest assured he is in the arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ. We haven't been to Mingo in a long time for various reasons and I am so sorry now since we were not in his and Ms. Mary's presence. I know how much your Daddy meant to all of you. May God comfort you as only He can. Much love
