Hello, my name is Jeff Knight (Marie and Jesse Knight's Son). I learned of Gerald's home going from a friend on Facebook and told Mother. She and I talked of times she remembered fondly she and Dad spent with you both. I remember going to your house as a young boy and how nice y'all were. Mother still has a great memory and mind, but her body is worn. She and I wanted to tell you and Jerry and your family we are lifting you up in prayer and know God will comfort you all today and in the days to come.
So sorry to hear of you dads passing. He was a great man. You and your family will be in my prayers.
Oh heavenly Father we bow to you oh Great hearer of prayer placing ourselves under your tender care may you keep the family strong during this time of bereavement

Dear Ruth: Hubert and I are thinking of you and the family at this time. We have the fondest of memories of both you and Gerald from those days at Mikado Baptist Church. Gerald's mother was such an influence in my life and we loved the whole family. May you accept the gifts of LOVE, GRACE, and PEACE that our loving Lord gives so freely. And in the days ahead may you find JOY as you remember the wonderful life you and Gerald shared. Hubert and Bettie Rose Addleton
