Your family is in our prayers. My family has known Mr. Hamrick for several years. So sorry for your loss. Rest in Peace Mr. Hamrick
To Bill's Family, My deepest sympathy in the loss of your loved one. Bill cut my hair since the late 60's beginning up in the loft on Cherry St. and then up until about a month ago. We will all miss him...he's cutting hair in heaven now, for sure!
Sincerely, Danny Bryant
Our sympathy to the family. He will be missed.
Bill use to work at my Dad's Barber shop. Honeycutt's and Hamrick's Barber shop. My dad sold the business to Bill because his father ran it before my dad. Was the right thing to do. Keep it in the family. Bill was a good man, just like his father. I will never forget him. He was a great man and an excellent barber. I grew up watching the "best". Bill and my dad. I will never forget the good old jokes I heard in that barber shop. Most of all Bill, I will never forget you. Your loyalty to my dad working there, the fun, the laughter, and you were a good man Bill Hamrick. I thank God for having the pleasure to of known you all these years. You will be truely missed by many friends and family Bill Hamrick. I know MOM and I will miss you tremendously. Thank you for being an outstanding man and oh what an outstanding "BARBER" you were. The angels in heaven won't go without a haircut with you and my dad up there that is for sure. You think they have clipper's up in heaven? I pray for your family and I pray that GOD will watch over them in this time of sorrow. I will miss you Bill.

To all the Hamrick family our prayers and thoughts are with you during this time. We have known Mr. Bill for a long time. He will be truly missed by all.
Bill was my sons barber as they were growing into young men. On Mercer we would sit and wait for him no matter She even said one time "I wished I had been a boy so Mr. Bill could cut my hair." He may be in Heaven but he will ALWAYS be in our hearts.
BILL YOU WERE MY BARBER FOR AS MANY YEARS AS I CAN REMEMBER. GOING TO THE BARBERSHOP JUST WON'T BE THE SAME. I AM PRAYING FOR YOUR FAMILY. KEN
Mr.Bill was my barber for the last several years--I had been going to several in Macon, and it only took one haircut at Hamricks and I was hooked--not only was the haircut the best in all the world, but the second you walked in the door you were treated like a long lost friend. Conversations ranged from hunting, fishing, boating down the river, food, politics, religion, and what it takes to get a quality haircut. At every instance he told me about his family--you didn't leave that shop without knowing how proud he was of his family-- Never at a loss for words, opinion, or a funny story, Mr. Bill Hamrick represented everything that is good about the American way of life--good honest folks who work hard making a living, raising a family, and leaving things a little bit better off than when he found them--to me Mr.Bill in his own way made me appreciate all that I have and especially thankful of all the little things we take for granted--just like the talcum applied at the end of my haircut--a little thing that makes a big difference when you walk out the door--His haircut may have only been 15 dollars, but the time spent with him over the last several years was worth a fortune---I consider myself privileged to have been allowed to sit in his chair.
Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.
