No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. My deepest condolences are with you as you grieve. Ryan was a great guy and will be truely missed. I just wish he could see how many people loved and cared for him.

I remember your first day as a Red, I heckled ya, saying "Freel Dawg, who the heck are you!" You shrugged it off. For the past two years I've worn your number on my back in my after work league, reminding me to try hard. Freel Dawg, thanks for teaching me to hustle. RIP

I have a very heavy heart after attending the visitation for Ryan this evening. Ryan touched so many lives and meant so much to my family, "The Sams". My fondest memory of Ryan is leaving the keys to my car in my locker during school hours so him and my cousin, Kevin could take my car off campus. :) My heart breaks for his three beautiful girls which I had the honor to meet this evening. Rest in peace my friend. You will truly be missed.

Ryan was a genuinely caring person and he had such a great connection with his players; he really loved "his boys."
We saw this cloud on our way to Oaklawn tonight -- how appropriate for a guy who lived every part of his life with an exclamation point!!!
