One of the greatest rewards in my life was having you and Grandma as my grandparents. I lost my moms dad at too young of an age and although I try, I can't remember him. You were my only grandfather, the only one and I miss you so much. Thank you for being the best grandpa in the world. Thank you, thank you, for always being there for me and picking me up when I fell. I will keep you alive and make sure my children never forget how amazing you are.

A lot like Grandma, I can never forget our days spent together, eating lunch at Burger King. I can see you and Grandma on our trips to Florida, catching all of those crabs in the bay just because I wanted to take them home for pets but I dont think any of them made it home alive. But you made sure that I got them because I wanted them. Trips to the lake were made more fun because of you and Grandma, you taking us out on the jet ski and getting us lost, you had the worst sense of direction I have ever seen. Easter egg hunts at aunt kits house and searching for our prize egg, Josh would find ours and hide it harder so we couldn't find it. There are so many memories that I promise I will never forget.

You hated to see me cry, didn't want anything or anyone hurting me. Although tough on the outside, your girls had a special way inside your heart.

You always made sure that I respected my mother in your presence and you did the same with my children. You let us get away with anything but disrespect you didn't tolerate.
