In the passing of Angie is the passing of a life long friendship. Rest in peace my dear, dear friend. I miss you every day and will love you always. It gives me great peace to know your struggle is ended and you are with Anthony, Frank your mom and dad and family. I look forward to seeing you again, until then my love will raise up to you in prayer every day and smiles too....I will be looking out my back door!

Mary Angela will be missed by all of us who knew her and loved her. She was a beautiful person, so full of love, life, and laughter. She was my cousin as well as my classmate from first grade on. We will truly miss her.

Dear Mary Angela and Family,

You sat behind me in school. When you were called upon to answer a question in class I would turn around and look at you. I don't remember your answers. I was always thinking you had the most beautiful skin, pinkest cheeks and the shinest hair in school. You were so genteel. Thank you for sharing your kind smile with me and others.
You will be missed.

Your Classmate and Friend,
Joan Piper-Benecick

Angela gave me a beautiful little painting of a large purple iris. I keep in it my office. Her sweetness was often more than this difficult world deserves; the often harsh and fast-paced world does not always embrace and nurture the vulnerability of such sensitive beings as Angela. May we all learn from her to be kinder and less judgmental and to reach out to those in need. She suffered a terrible, ravaging illness that isolates and destroys many. May her dear soul rest in peace. Melissa Fletcher Keith

I always thought Mary Angela was the sweetest person with her vibrant blue eyes and black hair she was a stand out. Hard to believe another Mt.de Sales classmate is gone, God Bless her and her family at this time.

May God grant your family with peace and comfort on the loss of Mary Angela.
My brother, sister-in-law and I remember her as a lovely lady who thought of others. She was a warm and caring person who made life better for those around her. She will be missed greatly.

To the Family of Mary Angela and all the Punaro's. I am Minter Garvin, Sr. and was a very close friend of all the Punaro's having grown up around the corner on Spring St. and attended school with Anthony. He was my closest friend, and although several years younger, Arnold was also a good friend. Their parents were great people with Mrs Punaro serving as our Den Mother in Cub Scouts. I still to this day include all the family in my prayers, especially Anthony and Frank along with their parents. I will add Mary Angela to my prayers list and pray that God will be with all the family in this time of sorrow. May God be with you all, Minter Garvin

Mary Angela will be missed by all of us who knew her and loved her. She was so talented in so many ways. She always had such a sweet smile when ever I saw her. Her obituary was so telling of her personality and very beautiful. Who ever wrote it knew her so well. She loved her family so much.
