Though I did not know Mary, her son Sammy used to be our neighbor. A sweet, gentle man, always kind to others. Clearly Mary was a good parent - and that's the most important job on earth! My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Mrs. C, as she is fondly remembered, will be missed by many. She was funny, gracious, and a great leader. Rest in peace, friend!

Mary was a beautiful southern lady full of goodness and light. She symbolized all that a person should aspire to be....gracious Christian, perfect wife, wonderful mother, loving grandmother, and a true gift to those who had the honor of meeting her. My memories of Mimi are very special...from her sweet lullabies to her grandchildren, to her delicious holiday meals, and her arts & crafts that she shared. She had a good- hearted nature and will truly be missed. Thoughts and prayers to Ray, Nathan, Suzi, Sammy, & family

Dear Sammy and family. Mary Cox was my principal at Rosa Taylor School. She was kind, fair and not afraid to enforce discipline when needed. I respected her. She was a great woman. I have always thought of her fondly. I am so sorry that you have to experience such a great loss. Much love, Leslie Sparrow
