I had honor of being named after Stan;;;; a true gentleman;;;met him twice; in 1962 at Ponce de Leon ballpark in Atlanta and 40 yrs. later in Newark,NJ. Treated me with total respect. Rest in Peace. Stan Seals- Dallas,Ga.

This morning on my way to work, I stopped by to give my respects to "THE MAN" at his statue at Busch Stadium.
I placed a flag by the side of all the other tributes, looked up at his face and whispered, "I hope to meet you in heaven".
I gave him a thumbs up and went on my way.
R.I.P. Mr. Musial.

Rip Stan The Man. You will be greatly missed such a great person to represent St. Louis. Never got to see you play but I sure wish I did seeing your amazing stats. My dad made sure I knew who Stan the man was and I will never forget seeing you in St. Louis all those times. Rip #6. My condolences to all of his family and friends.

To the family of Stan Musial, I offer my sympathy and prayers for your loss. As a child, I always tried to emulate Stan's crouch and hitting ability. The best that I could do is copy the crouch. He was always my idol, not just as a great ballplayer, but because of his love of his family and of the Lord, who he followed throughout his career and life. In a sporting world full of takers, he was the exception: he gave back to his state and country for his entire life. He is now looking at fast balls that are as big as basketballs to him again. May God bless and keep him forever. We will never see his kind again.

My boyhood hero. Thanks to an extra special man for all the wonderful memories. In my den I have photos of my self admiring his Hall of Fame items, a photo of his playing gear, and, best of all, an autographed baseball that one of his nieces was nice enough to ask him to sign and dedicate to me. I'll see them every day until we meet in heaven.
