To Mr Musial's Family,
My condolences to all of you at this time of great loss. I had the great honor to meet Mr. Musial on a few occasions, each with Dr. Marty Schwarze. He is a delightful man, very pleasant and easy to converse and a great harmonica player!
I know a few family members and I want to say that my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Sincerely,
He was a gentle man! Thank you for being a great ambassador for the game of baseball. You will be missed. Rest in peace.
R.I.P.
Stan met me 1960's in Los Angeles.
Yes a sad day for St.Louisans, but also a sad day for all Missourians and all Americans. He was an All-Star's All-Star and a Hall of Famer's Hall of Famer. A national treasure. I had the pleasure of watching Stan the Man and Teddy Ballgame play against each other for the last time at the 1960 All-Star Game at Kansas City's Municipal Stadium (along with Mantle, Mays, and Aaron). What a thrill.
