We lost a friend, we lost a HERO.

We like you have been to the endless depths of grief, and cannot stem the seeming endless stream of tears. But because love knows no bounds we are forever in touch with their freed souls and one day will be with them in Gods perfection, rejoicing together in the land where there are no tears and no night. May God bless you all.

To the families and loved ones of Matt, Bryan, Scott, Edrik, Shawn, Caleb, Jim and Roark;

As we have each learned, there are no words that can adequately express either the depth of our sorrow or the comfort we wish to bring. But because of the brotherhood that our loved ones formed, because of the circumstance of their deaths, and because of our shared grief, we will forever be bound.

As we walk through this long valley of tears, you are all in my heart and thoughts and prayers. May God, in all His goodness, give us courage and strength and brings us to peace.

He is surrounding us with His loving arms, until the day we can again embrace the one we love.

Sally Steele,
David's grandmother

I cannot fathom the pain of this tragedy. I went to school with Matt at Corban and in fact graduated with him in May and I lived right across the hall from Monica in the dorms. I pray for you all every day. I am so sorry and hope that God is comforting your pain. Matt was a wonderful man and he will be truly missed in every circle that he was ever a part of. God bless.

Though we had never met I am sure that we have worked the lines together somewhere. My heart goes out to you and your family.
