I am deeply saddened to hear about the untimely passing of Dakota. As a teacher we tend to think of our influence on our students lives and not see the influence that they have on our own. Dakota had a positive impact on everyones lives including mine. I will always remember and cherish our great discussions about physics, life, music, and farming. Dakota was unique and special in the best way imaginable and he will be missed. My deepest condolences to all his friends and family that he left behind.

Arlene, it has been so many years since we met in our little group with our kids. We were supports for each other then and remain so. There really are no words to express over such a thing as the loss of a child. My heart goes out to you and your family.

We are so very sad to hear of Dakotas passing. He was good friends with our granddaughter, Jenn Williams, so we watched him grow up into a fine young man. He and Jenn came to the house and helped me make salsa and I teased him about his long dreadlocks and beard. Dakota was proud to bring some of the biggest green peppers I have ever seen and told me he grew them. I will remember the laughter that filled our home that day. God Speed, Dakota. You will be missed by so very many. Genevieve and Carroll DuBois

He was such a wonderful man. He was kind, hard working, and ultimately just very himself, which was so refreshing. I am still somewhat in denial, expecting him to walk through the door at work with his shorts, work boots, and his grand father's sport coat. To his friends and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Cherish the memories of this wonderful young man who was taken too soon.
