My condolences to Raymond's family. I was a classmate of his at the Smith School in Augusta in the 6th grade. I read where I read that he had a "zest for life" and I remember that about Raymond. He was fun to be around way back then and it sounds like he was the same as an adult. Treasure the good memories you must have.

What a long way you came, Ray, between the time these two photos were taken. You are a true measure of success and your family should be so proud of the man you became. Gone, but not forgotten. (Grammar and high school classmate)

Well Ray, although I haven't seen you since somewhere around late summer in 1966 on the Gorham State campus, I can still remember what a wild and crazy guy you were back then and how you made the Upward Bound counselors and student attendees laugh with your comical relief that you provided us with.

Rest in peace Ray, you'll be missed by many.
