Bonita M. Dube, 70
BIDDEFORD - Bonita M. Dube, 70, of 407 Pool St. went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 6, at St. Andres in Biddeford. She was born Feb. 5, 1948, in Portland, the daughter of Chester and Gertrude Butler.
She grew up on Peaks Island and later married Romeo Dube in 1966. She graduated from Portland High School in 1966 and from Rhema Bible College in 1993.
Bonita worked as a cake decorator, CAN, operated her own daycare business, an administrative assistant at Pierce Atwood law firm, and a youth pastor.
As a woman of great faith, she always took every opportunity to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ and his love for all. She loved her family and they were a very important part of her life, especially her grandchildren.
Preceding her in death was her brother Chester Butler, as well as parents Chester and Gertrude Butler. Bonita is survived by her brother Larry Butler; three daughters, Michele Neales of Sanford and her husband Rick; two grandchildren, Romnie Gross of Owls Head and her husband Nathan; 3 grandchildren, and Stephanie Kea of Leicester, NC and her husband Chris; 2 grandchildren, and her former husband Romeo Dube.
Friends and family are invited to attend a time of visitation on Wednesday July 11, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at
Jones, Rich & Barnes Funeral Home
, and 199 Woodford St. Portland. Funeral services will be celebrated the next day Thursday July 12, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Brooklawn Memorial Park in Portland, Maine. On-line Condolences can be given to the family at www.jonesrichandbarnes.com.

Thank you for allowing us to care for Bonita in her time of need. She has been part of our family for years and she will be missed by all staff and residents. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of her family during this difficult time.
