Douglas B. McCaig, 70
VERO BEACH, Fla. - My times are in your hands...Psalm 31:15. Douglas B. McCaig, 70, of Vero Beach, Fla. passed away unexpectedly on Feb. 6, 2017, at Indian River Medical Center with his wife at his side. In 2007, Doug fulfilled his dream to retire in Florida.
Doug was born in Concord, NH, April 12 1946, to Barbara (Fields) and Raymond McCaig. Doug spent most of his life in Lancaster, NH. He graduated from Bryant College in 1969 with a BA in Business Administration, and worked as Comptroller for Weeks Memorial Hospital until his retirement. Doug was a 32° Mason and former member of the Scottish Rite Lancaster-Littleton and Nashua and former Bektash Shriners, Concord, NH
Doug is predeceased by his mother and father, and survived by his wife Phyllis Powell; several stepchildren; stepgrandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
