Bud was a class act. He was the standard we all strove for on Keoka Lake during the regatta and while honing our sailing skills against him when there was fair winds on other days.
Watching him march in his Navy Whites on the 4th of July parade in Waterford made us all proud and gave us someone to point to when asked by our children what it means to serve your country.
We will miss ya Bud.

We will keep Bud's memory alive here in the cabin he built on his beloved Keoka Lake. We are grateful every day to Bud and Margaret for their kindness toward us when we became the new inhabitants of their home. The day after we moved in, Frank McKeon came over from the cabin next door to welcome us. He said, "If you ever need any help with anything here, or there's anything you need to know, be sure to call me -- and I'll call Bud!" Here's hoping Bud and Frank are sharing some laughs and wonderful memories together.

I will always remember 'Bud' as being my dad's best friend. When I was growing up they were always up to something together. I loved tagging along with them because it was so much fun hearing them laugh and joke and pock fun at each other. Wonderful memories.

We are saddened to hear of Bud's death. A bit of the sparkle has gone off of Keoka. Growing up, we could always see Bud out on the lake in his sunfish or sailfish and their successors. Our condolences to Marg, Dave, and to Russ and his family. Bud's great sense of humor will be missed!
