Thank you for everything Majel, may you rest in peace. Now you're with Gene again...may you both look down upon future Star Trek incarnations with love and approval.

I do believe that your television show is a glimpse of the future as time and space travel become a reality.
Thank you for the memories.

I am truly saddened today upon learning of Ms. Majel Barrett Roddenberry's death. I have been one of the biggest Star Trek fans for most of my life. I first learned of the show after it was in syndication but my Grandmother said, "You've seen that show before. Remember? You and I used to watch that show about the ship in outer space when you were little" so I guess I did see it when it was first on TV. It was years before I realized the first 'Number One' with black hair was the same person as Nurse Chapel. Then I was amazed to learn that Ms. Barrett-Roddenberry was the ONLY person to appear on EVERY Star Trek series and she was the computer voice in TNG and Voyager and more. What a timeless honor! I am so proud for her to have been such a large part of such a HUGE piece of history and of Americana - Star Trek! That show is directly responsible for MANY of the conveniences we now enjoy. People don't realize how much of an effect Star Trek has had on their lives. Just think of the automatic doors at the grocery store or the flip-phones in your pockets (or even cell phones themselves). Mr. & Mrs. Roddenberry had the vision and planted the seeds into the minds of inventors and they took root. How many scientists have you heard in an interview about their accomplishments compare their work to something like they saw on Star Trek? They saw it on Star Trek when they were a child and spent the better part of their life making it come to life. I truly cannot imagine how different our culture, life and Planet would be if we had never known Star Trek and Mrs. Majel Barrett Roddenberry. Thank you my dear friend, Mrs. Majel Barrett Roddenberry, for truly making a difference and making My life better and thank you for making the World a much better place for us all to live in. That sounds like an exaggeration but it is as true as anything I know! God Bless your Soul Majel Barrett Roddenberry!
