As an intern , in the Pa , Federal Building ,(Pittsburgh),in 1987,I was amazed at the respect that our Senator attracted in western Pa. I was only 20 years old , and an orthodox Jewish college student , Arlen Specter,inspired many of us with an interest in politics . His service not only to the American people , but also to the people of Israel ,and people throughout our world , speaks volumes of his passion for justice , and belief in a more democratic wold community.May Hashem-Gd , comfort his family and friends , with all the mourners of Tzion - VeYerushalayim. (Zion/Jerusalem)
