Manute Bol was a good basketball player. He was competitive displaying grace, mildness self control along with a lovely smile. A gentle giant and a very fine role model. May your family find peace and comfort and remember how Jesus Christ called Lazarus back from death.

I enjoyed watching Manute play ball, he was very cordial and kind during interviews, and his smile could light up a room. I am truly sorry for your loss, please remember God’s words at 1John 5:13, “I write YOU these things that YOU may know that YOU have life everlasting, YOU who put YOUR faith in the name of the Son of God.

For now I will miss Manute’s smile.

The former things have passed away."" Please accept my sincere condolences during this time of your loss.

To The Family of Manute Bol:

I would like to express my sincere sympathy for the loss of your loved one, Manute Bol. I remember when he first came on the scene as a professional basketball player and I thought: Wow, he sure is tall! I always enjoyed seeing him play and being from the Washington, DC area he was one of our players. Finding the right words to say isn't always easy but I would like to leave you with a scripture that I find comforting. When you read it really trust and believe that our heavenly father will do just what he says, all you have to do is ask for his help. The scripture is found at Isaiah 41:10. Having experienced a double family loss recently I truely understand the pain you are feeling during this time of sorrow. But know that our heavenly father also promises a time when death will be no more and we will be able to see our loved ones again. So hold fast to these promises and you will find the comfort you need when you need it most.
