Dear Mom,

I went to the mailbox the other day and I recieved a birthday card from Mikey, And as I was going through the mail I thought how odd it was that I hadn't recieved a card from you yet. You're always the first one.

Later on that evening, I looked up to witness a magnificant sunset and I realized that was my present!

We all miss you here, but we know you are dancing, even though you don't have your shoes. But remember you can dance much better with your shoes off.

I found this little poem and it made me think of you!

When somebody dies, a cloud turns into an angel, and flies up to tell God to put another flower on a pillow.

A bird gives the message back to the world, and sings a silent prayer that makes the rain cry.

People disappear, but they never really go away.

The spirits up there put the sun to bed, wake up grass, and spin the earth in dizzy circles.

Sometimes you can see them dancing in a cloud during the day-time, when they're supposed to be sleeping. They paint the rainbows and also the sunsets and make waves splash and tug at the tide.

They toss shooting stars and listen to wishes.

And when they sing wind-songs, they whisper to us, don't miss me too much.

The view is nice and I'm doing just fine.

I love you, and think of you oft

Had the pleasure and the honor of meeting Viki's mother Marie a couple of years ago.

We had dinner and some good laughs.

I'm sure shes resting comfortably right now and may God bless her and her family.

She taught me one of the mysteries of life – What to do with an artichoke. May she find the peace in the next life that eluded her in this

I can't imagine what it's like to lose a mother, but I hope with the passing of time, that the pain of her loss will grow easier to bear and that the pain is replaced by the joy of loving memories.

We have come together to mourn the loss of Mary
A wife,
A daughter
A sister
A friend

Though she is no longer with us she leaves within all of us.
Her gift,
of generosity
of caring
of kindness
we will miss her dearly,
but remember her always with love.

IS BOUND BY HEARTSTRINGS"
