To the entire Kyne Family,
We are so very sorry for your loss. Dave came highly recommended as a driving instructor and my son Colby really enjoyed his lessons. Dave would play Tupak and made the lessons fun but he was also a great instructor. Colby passed his driving test with flying colors. I enjoyed chatting with Dave before and after each lesson and we both had children in college in Santa Barbara. You are so fortunate that he was your father & husband and I hope you will always cherish the years you had with him. He left a smile on the face of everyone he met.
my name is yvonne drozdowicz, and i am from the old oak manor crowd in fairfax...i am soo sorry to hear this news, late, however it still is a shock. dave was a great fun buddy and i had alot of laughs with him...to his family, the grief you all have is shared with me - to be sure! Rock on dave

Colleen, Katie, Allison and Family:
Was a lovely, heartfelt tribute to your Dave. Words can't express the sorrow felt by my entire family for your loss; so many, many memories came flooding back on Friday. Everyone there reminded me of different chapters of mine and my family's lives. I hope you'll always find comfort in the love all of us felt for Dave; what a fantastic representation of that love was shown Friday. Colleen, I'm a phone call/email away and I'm off for the Summer. If you need anything, ever, please don't hesitate to ask. I know from experience what a difficult road you have ahead of you. I also know that Dave will live forever in that cherished part of your heart. What a beautiful legacy he leaves. Be kind to yourselves in the days ahead, howl at the moon as much as you need to! Thank you for sharing that lovely man with all of us over so many years. Love you always, Sister Sue
Dear Colleen and family,

Dear Colleen, Katie and Allie, Paula Collins told me the tragic news and I am heartbroken for you all. May you find peace. With love, Beth and Haley Devener
I Remember spending summers with David driving that blue Chevy K-5 Blazer with a Jet Ski in the back. We would listen to the Scorpions at high volumne levels laughing, singing, off roading, driving to Tahoe, Stinson Beach, hanging at Charlie's in Oak Manor. This is when MTV just came out out i will never forget the quality time we had together, he was such a great guy. Here is the funny; we would drive that truck with the Jet Ski in the back all over Marin just for show (because it hardly ever worked:) My Condolences go out to Matt, Tom, Collen and the kid's and the entire Kyne Family. David Kyne was one of the best persons of ALL the people i ever knew. God Bless you David..see you when i get there.
Colleen and Kyne Family. Hearing of Dave's passing has been a shock to so many of us who love Dave. His laughter and sense of humor always carried the day growing up in Fairfax and playing sports. Both my daughters had the privilege of Dave's humor when he taught them to drive. Our hearts and prayers are with all of you. Jon & Kathy Little
Dave, I worked with you 18yrs. in the same company Giusto's, although we were in different depts./bldgs., I dealt with you plenty of times in person & over the phone, to know what a good man you were. Even on your most heck tick days, you would speak to me with such calmness, and low toned always, no matter how busy we were, you always took your time talking to me, and listening too, and you never walked away without a funny wise crack bout something, you would always make me smile or laugh. I left the company 1yr. & 7 months ago, but seems like yesterday you were making me smile. I will never forget you bro, and my heart and prayers go out to your wife, 2 daughters, and the whole Kyne family, you will be greatly missed I know, but never forgotten, although you left us early, you touched so many hearts, God bless you.
to the kyne family we are so sorry for your loss. our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. the olivotti families

My thoughts and prayers are with you. Dave's smile and laugh was contagious! He had a way of lighting up a room and will be missed by many.
Cherish the time you had and the memories you created together!
Dave was truly a special person, one of a kind. A wonderful husband to my sister Colleen and a terrific father to his daughters, Katie and Allie, two very beautiful and intelligent young women. Dave had a great sense of humor, he could always make me laugh, especially during tense situations. He was a big part of our family's life. He was my best man at our wedding, and my daughters God Father. It is hard to imagine life without him. Though our hearts are broken, Dave will forever live on in each of us for our memories of him are filled with joy and laughter. My only regret is that I did not spend more time with him, if I only knew. Dave, you are the brother I never had and I will always love you and cherish the wonderful memories you have given me. Brother, I love you and you will be truly missed.
To the Kyne and Addy Families,

I am so sorry for your loss. My sons learned to drive from Mr. Kyne. They really enjoyed his teaching style and they are now excellent drivers. Many of their friends also took Mr. Kyne's driving classes and enjoyed them. From what I hear he was a legendary driving instructor. Rest in Peace, Mr. Kyne.
