June, you were a great friend and mentor. I am so grateful and enriched by your friendship. May you rest in peace. Love always!

How does one sum up more than 50 years of friendship? My dear June, so many wonderful, happy memories. You were my nursing school roommate and the woman who introduced me to my husband. You were my "partner in crime" through our college escapades. I shall always remember them with smiles and much laughter. I have many pictures which I shall cherish. You stood with me as I repeated my vows and you were always just a phone call away when I needed good counsel. When we moved to Calfornia in 1972, you were the first person to care for my infant daughter, Margot, so we could go out and celebrate my 30th birthday! We shared a love of sports, of music, of nature. I shall also treasure the memories of our trip to the World's Fair in Vancouver BC with the kids! Always quick to help someone in need, I know you will be a shining star in God's heaven. I'll never forget you, Junie. God bless you, God Bless John and may all your family and close friends know I shall be praying for them to receive comfort and peace.

I remember when we made Christmas wreaths at Marie's house. We had so much fun. Rest in peace, June, you will always be in my thoughts.

To June, We knew you for many years, first through UCSF and then through Holy Innocents' Church where you taught Sunday School lessons to our sons. We shared a love of cats. We will miss you forever. In Christ, Mark and Diane Gathings
