Betty, You have been an insiration to me as we walked this journey together. I will never forget you and what you have taught me through your actions and the way you lived your life. I am Blessed to have known you and your family and will miss you dearly. Your family will continue to be in my prayers. With Loving Memories, ~Heather Ahles

I met Betty while working at Wal Mart and I can't say enough positive things about Betty. Heaven has gotten a lot brighter with it's new angel. Condolences to the Schlafke family.

To all Betty's Boys and their Families....You gave your mother a very kind, special funeral, just like the lady she was. She was a very special Aunt to me and my family. Always happy, wondering how everyone was doing. The camping trips to "Little Wolf" and Betty doing her "train whistle" throughout the campground will never be forgotten. The "up north" gang will miss her forever!

Granny I couldn't ask for a better one she was an amazing granny I will never forget her yawn or the noise she made when she was cold and every Christmas I would get pink and white turtle necks. I'm happy and sad that she has passed, happy because she no longer in pain and not suffering sad, because just the fact that she won't be calling me anymore asking if I would want to go to McDonald's or go see my two cousins or simply to hang out. Granny was an amazing cook, especially her chicken noodle soup it was amazing!!!! Love you and miss you dearly granny. Its not good bye but see you again soon.
