Lorraine Fryza Obituary

Fryza, Lorraine

Lorraine A. Fryza, 88, Marshfield, made her journey to heaven on Sunday, October 7, 2012. She had been battling dementia for the past few months which had taken its physical toll.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at St. John's Catholic Church, Marshfield. Rev. Samuel Martin will officiate and music will be provided by St. John's Church Funeral Choir. Burial will take place in St. Mary's Polish Cemetery, Lublin, Wisconsin, at a later date.

Lorraine was born on January 4, 1924 and raised in Chicago, a city she always spoke of with great memories. She was one of 7 children born to Joseph and Mary (Kosinski) Bielinski and was raised during the depression. Lorraine worked for Stewart Warner during World War II sodering radios in the defense plant. She met and married Chester Fryza in 1948 and they had 2 children. The family moved to Lublin, WI in 1967 to take over a small family farm. They then moved to Spencer, WI in 1968 where they purchased a larger dairy farm. They lived there until Chester's death in 1989. Lorraine moved to the city of Spencer where she lived for about 14 years. She then moved to Marshfield where she resided until the present time.

Lorraine loved to be out in town playing bingo, visiting with her friends and family. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was always proud of all their accomplishments and attended many sporting events. Her latest joy was the birth of her twin great grandsons.

She is survived by her children, John (Nancy) Fryza and Charmaine (Charles) Drews, all of Marshfield. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Melissa (Tim) Othmer, Brandon Fryza, Claire Drews, and Chloe Drews, and great grandsons, Miles and Grayson Othmer. She is further survived by a sister, Dolores (Tom) Wojtkiewicz of Chicago.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and brothers, Ted, Gene, Mike, and Norbert and by a sister, Cecilia.

We would like to thank Dr. Mayeux for her help. We would also like to thank the manager and maintenance at Wyndham Senior Villas for all of their understanding and patience with our mother.
