Walker, Teddy A.
Teddy A. Walker, 64, of Fenwood, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, March 12, 2014 at St. Clare's Hospital Critical Care Unit in Weston surrounded by his family.
Funeral services will be 11am Saturday, March 15, 2014 at the Sauter/Rembs Funeral Home in Stratford.
VFW Post # 6352 of Stratford will conduct military rites following the service at the funeral home.
Visitations will be from 9:30am Saturday at the Sauter/Rembs Funeral Home until time of services.
He was born January 26, 1950 in Marshfield to Robert and Elizabeth (Heide). He married Diane Tuitman on June 22, 1971 in Elmherst, IL.
Teddy enlisted in the United States Army to serve his country during the Viet Nam War. During his service, he received numerous decorations including the Distinguished Flying Cross, Bronze Star w/V Device, Purple Heart, and 17 air medals. After serving for 22 years, he retired and moved his family to Fenwood to be close to his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Diane; his three daughters, Jenny (Chad) Stieber of Marathon, Deanna Lombardo (John Eisenman) of Edgar, Bobbie Walker (Adrian Shuppe) of Stevens Point and five grandchildren, Andrea, Alison, Alysha, Emily, and Aeryn.
He is preceded in death by his parents Bob and Betty Walker and daughter Christine.
Teddy was a man who learned from his life experiences and shared his knowledge wholeheartedly and openly with his family and friends.
