A year has passed & you remain forever on my mind. I am learning to get through the days without crying every time I think of you. When you passed I was so very sad. I realize now that this was my selfishness. You are at peace with Daddy, Ray, Gram, Pap, and all our other family & friends that went before you. When I think of you now I remember the good times we had & how happy you must be now. It makes me smile. There are still days when I am sad because I cannot just pick up the phone & talk to you. My selfishness comes through; however, there are less of those days & more of the days when I sit out in “Your Garden”, reading or just listening to the beautiful songbirds in the back yard. During this time the wind chimes are singing & the sun is shining down on me giving me the peaceful reassurance that you are with me. I pray you are at peace on Heaven's Beach. I LOVE YOU Momma Momma, then, now & always!

This is our first Easter without you Momma Momma. I miss how you used to get Easter baggies with all the 'goodies' for all the grandkids/ great grandkids. You loved the Holidays and now I feel such sadness as each Holiday approaches; especially the ones you loved so much. I brought palm home from Mass on Sunday & wanted to call you to make sure you had enough palm, as I know you always made it a point to get all of us at least one peice to put in our homes. As I get ready for Easter Sunday I miss you getting ready for the day--excited, anticipating seeing all of the kids in their Easter outfits. I even have a picture of you with all us girls on Easter back in 1968. Oh, the good old days of Easter dresses, fancy coats and hats, and of course the black patent leather shoes...I miss those times. Our lives were so much simpler and our love for each other was immeasureable. We still love one another but we all are somehow lost without you. You were the center of our lives and we are lost sheep without you. Please help us all to be ok.
