Brian Jay Doig 1964 - 2013 SPRINGFIELD - "Bad to the bone" till the day he died on the 28th of August. Brian has gone to join the party with his close friends Mark C., Mark P. and Jerry P. Born in Greenfield, son of the late Alexander Doig and survived by his dearly loved mother Jean Doig (Stewart) and daughter Ryan Doig. He also leaves behind his cousin Alan and five siblings Neil, Gary, Nancy, Holly and Betty. In addition, Brian leaves behind his companion Theresa his "tootsie popper" and many other close friends and family. You know who you are! A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, Sept. 6th, 2013 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. located at 78 Barnum St., Springfield, MA 01108.

Ryan, I am so sorry for your loss. Brian was a Fun Guy and I always enjoyed his company. My sister Lee Loved him as a Dear Friend for a lifetime! He will always be remembered in our Hearts! Brian was good to me whenever I saw him. He always made me feel safe... That's Brian(Bad Boy)! He had a great sense of humor! I will miss him. I have some Great Pictures and I will get them to you. Jean, Neil, Gary & family. What sadness to see Brian's name in today's listing of Obituary's. Brian is now at peace within himself. There were many good times, many years ago on Dorset St when the Doig & Davis families got together.
