Donald Schreiber 1926 - 2013 BOYNTON BEACH, FL - Donald Schreiber died Thursday April 18th at Baystate Medical Center. Born on July 22, 1926 to the late Gladys and Jacob H. Schreiber. Donald was a graduate of Tech High School class of 1944, then enlisted in the Navy during WWII and was stationed in Washington, DC. After serving in the Navy he attended American International College and graduated in 1950. After his graduation he worked for Wernick Brothers in real estate and in the early 1950's he opened his own office, Schreiber and Co. Realtor. He was a member of Congregation B'nai Torah, Springfield JCC and many other national and local organizations. He was an avid golfer and was one of the origional investors in Twin Hills C.C. Donald leaves four sisters and one brother; Thelma Schreiber, Betty (Melvin) Zeidenberg, Ruth (Mark) Feinberg, Florence Rosenbluth and Leonard Schreiber. His family would like to thank the social workers, aides, nurses and physical therapists who took care of Donald at the Jewish Nursing Home. The funeral will be 1:00 Friday (TODAY) at the Ascher-Zimmerman Funeral Home with burial in Kodimoh Cemetery. Shiva will be Sunday thru Tuesday with evening services at 197 The Meadows, Enfield, CT. Don and I were friends thru Harvey Gruskin. I remember him as a good broker and business man. I am sorry he is gone.
