Teaching is a very noble profession that shapes the character, caliber, and future of an individual. Miss Blaine shaped the future of so many students. She was truly a wonderful teacher.

Miss Blaine was the first of a string of phenomenal math teachers I had at Chicopee High School that convinced me to persue a STEM career by going to MIT and then moving to Silicon Valley. I loved geometry with her! May she Rest In Peace knowing the positive impact she had on so many students.

Ms. Blaine was a wonderful teacher, -- albeit a little scary a first, she had a heart of gold -- I will never forgot how she allowed us to do extra credit projects so that we could pass. Never a Math wizard, I credit Ms. Blaine with the fact that I never flunked a class. A year ago I saw a women that looked like Ms. Blaine at the Big Y on James Street, I didn't know if it was her because she looked exactly as I remembered her -- I figured after 42 years, it couldn't be. I regret not at least going up to her to inquire --because I believe it was her. I truly wanted to thank her for all her help and kindness. She was a great educator who cared for her students -- she will be missed.
