Karen and the Conlin family. I just learned of Kevin's passing in the St.Michael's newsletter. Kevin and I were classmates and for a short time roommates . Kevin was always looking for the fun in every event.
While we lost contact after school you never forget a guy like Monk
Sadly I have lived in Houston since 1995 and did not know you and he were here. Kevin was a good friend. He is now at home.
I just recieved via the St.Michael's news letter the news of Kevin's passing. I am so sorry for your loss. He was a very nice guy and a friend of mine at St. Mike's.
Karen, Zach, Sarah, and Chad,
We started out as neighbor's and parted as friends. Words cannot express the sorrow we have felt upon learning of Kevin's passing. The years of memories of times spent with the Conlins heighten the sense of your loss of a husband, father, and our friend as a result of Kevin's death. Memories such as picnics on the deck of your home, parties held around the holidays, baptisms of children, the birth of children, and first days of school are some to name a few. Just sitting down with Kevin to have a beer (or two, or three) are the foundation upon which great memories are built. We know but cannot truly feel the extent of your loss, but please be assured our prayers and thoughts are with you as all of you and your families go forward on the road of life.
Your friends, Mike and Lourdes Caney
I met you Kevin and your daughter at Dr. Iqball's office when Kevin was diagnosed. I too have multiple myeloma. Every couple of months we would run in to each other getting treatment or he would call to see how I was. I was always struck by his positive outlook and his courage as he continued to work every day. His love for his family was evident as I could hear such love in his voice when he spoke of all of you. I am sorry for your loss I will pray for your family
To Karen and family...very very sorry to hear about Kevin's passing. I knew Kevin from our years working at Lester Building Systems. I was always struck by Kevin's positive and kind spirit...just a great guy who was taken long before his time. God bless and take care.

Dear Karen and family: I never had the privilege of meeting you as most of us went our separate ways after St. Mike's. But "Monk" had the smiling face and great sense of humor that we all loved. I can assure you that he had many, many friends who are deeply saddened by this news. Please accept my deepest sympathy.
