A truly great person centered on everyone around him and making things better. His legacy is the stuff of legend, all because he cared.
Truly saddened to hear of Ted's passing. I worked with him back when he was associated with Atty. Nicholas Zeo on Worthington St., Springfield and later at Matron, Healey & Dimauro. He was a great boss and akind and caring man whose smile would light up a room. Greatly missed.

Ted and George Sweeney sold me on entering public life. I never regretted following their advice; but their constant friendship enhanced my life even more so.
May Ted's everlasting heavenly life bring blessings each day to all of his family.
May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
To the Dimauro,
I'm proud to have known this man , for when he was the mayor , he was the one who hired me as a employee of the city from the ejp program that I had worked under for a year upon my release from the service I proudly have his signature on my paper work , to which all I can say is heavens got the best mayor there ever was in this city in my book is my opinion bias sure , REST IN PEACE MR.MAYOR!!! God bless your family for I'm sure they will see you again.
To The Dimauro Family, please accept my sincerest condolences upon the passing of a truly great man.
Ted had a great sense of humor which he showed with many private messages to me via face book.
But more importantly Ted was a gentleman and a leader who demonstrated his love for Springfield during his tenure as a member of the School Committee, City Council and most importantly as Mayor.
Ted was the last great Mayor that Springfield had.
It was during his tenure as Mayor that the he brought together the public private partnership that resulted in a great economic boom for the City.
May his family enjoy all the wonderful memories of a good and decent man.
Former Springfield City Councilor
Ted was a stand up guy who did what he thought best and never shied away from criticism ..I admired his character and zeal for the citizens of Springfield ..clearly one of the good guys in public office
Dear Ann and family, I am truly saddened to hear of Ted's passing. I had nothing but respect for him and learned a great deal when I served on the School Committee with him and later the City Council when he was mayor. Always a gentleman, always fair and incredibly honest. He will be missed. My condolences and heartfelt sympathy.

I got to meet Teddy once when I was a kid, but as I grew older, I was able to get help from him and learning about the DiMauro family. I had an honor learning from him and what he meant to the family. Teddy was there to help people out. I am glad to call him a member of my family. He will be missed in our family, the city of Springfield where he was mayor and by all who knew him. Rest in Peace Cousin Teddy.
