Dear Skip, Pauline and family,
When I married your cousin Dave way back in the 1970s, I was so happy to realize I wasn't the first JANE in the family. Then I was happier still when, in a conversation about my ineptitude at domestic tasks, your mother said, "That's OK. We Janes don't cook."
Yes! Permission to be me and not be judged for it!
I'll remember our drives with your mom from Exeter to Springfield, when Molly would start barking when we were blocks from Kay's house, as if she could smell the treat that was waiting for her.
It's so sad that Kay and Jane can't still burn up the phone wires every morning. Your mom had a great life full of family and travel (and Waterford and teddy bears and Belleek and a storage warehouse of non-perishables in the garage). We'll miss her.
From Dave Harrigan and "the other Jane."
Deae Skip,
So sorry for your loss. Your Mom was a special Lady. I remember her and your Dad
fondly.
