To the young family....I worked at Choice Vend with Bob in my second year out of college. I was a cost accountant and worked closely with Bob on many cost initiatives. We started our day with golden brown english muffins from the toaster he brought to work and placed in his office. I think Bob was in his upper 50's at the time and I from time to time did some canoeing. Bob talked me into entering a canoeing race that I, for the life of me can not remember where. We came in dead (4 hours later)last singing songs and talking about everything under the sun. After Choice Vend, Bob would call me from time to time for a brief conversation. He would always start off with a crude joke and then for the next 5 minutes go on and on praising me about work, person and encouragement. He would do that every day at work as well. You would never know when he was going to call but when you would least expect it there came the call. He continued to call for many many years. The last may have been a year and a half ago though time has a way of going by. I just wish I did the same. He will always be in my memory.
