Howard G. Palmer Sr. 1938 - 2012 BROOKFIELD - Howard G. Palmer Sr., 73, of 11 Tyler St., passed away on August 9th in West Brookfield. He leaves his sons Jonathan and his wife Tammy of North Oxford, and Howard Jr. of Gilbertville , his brothers Chester and Harry both of Springfield, a sister Barbara Palmer and her companion Carl Greene of Springfield, his grandchildren Jonathan and Gracie Palmer, his best friend George MacDonald and his dog Abby, as well as his extended church family. He was born in Springfield son of Harold and Dorothy (Cadwell) Palmer and had lived in Ware until living in Brookfield for the last several years. He worked as a dyer for Hardwick Knitters. He was a member of the Brookfield Congregational Church. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday August 14th at 11 am in the Brookfield Congregational Church, on the common. Burial will follow in Aspen Grove Cemetery in Ware. The family wishes to express a sincere thanks to the staffs at Quaboag Rehab and Nursing Center, and JHC Hospice for their devoted care. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Howard's memory to the Brookfield Congregational Church. Charbonneau Funeral Home of Ware is entrusted with arrangements.
