Dear Kathy, Sean and Katlyn,
Pat and I are so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. Those of us who knew him in college at Georgetown knew him as a person of integrrity, compassion and warmth. He was funny, compassionate, and committed to the principles of equal justice and equality of opportunity. There was nothing that he wouldn't do for a friend.

It is gratifying to read the many entries in this guest book and see that he retained these commitments throughout his life.

All the best to you in this hard time.

Dear Kathy and family - I was so sorry to learn just this week of Jim's passing last Spring. He was a great friend in college, and it is hard to believe he is no longer with us. All of us who knew Jim at Georgetown remember him as brilliant, warm, funny, and a very serious student, and also a man of the highest moral caliber. It is good to read that Jim continued his success in the fields of law, teaching and community service after college, but none of us who knew him at Georgetown expected anything less. I'm specially happy that Jim remained a lifelong and active Democrat. I'm sorry that I did not keep in touch very well as time passed, but Jim was often in my thoughts and will always remain in my heart. Very best wishes and peace.

I was very sad to hear of Jason's passing. He was a wonderful man and a great lawyer. He was always so helpful and genuine. Jason was counsel to my whole family: grandparents, parents and myself. When he was young my mom Jeanne (Tondreau) Lata walked him to school. So sorry for your loss.

Dear Mrs.Thompson, I was reading the Register and learned of Mr. Thompson's passing. I was stunned and so sadden to hear this. I had not heard till now and I so wish I had come by to pay my respects. He was my teacher,my lawyer and my friend. He was so kind to us during several difficult occasions and you both have always held a special place in my life and the lives of my children. I wish you comfort and healing and so many wonderful memories. My thoughts are with you and your children and grandchildren. He will truly be missed by this town and the people whose lives he touched.
