John Pronko Obituary

John Pronko 1923 - 2013 INDIAN ORCHARD - John Pronko, 90, passed away on August 21, 2013 at home. Born in Halifax, VT to the late Joseph and Mary (Banel) Pronko, John was an avid golfer, who also enjoyed fishing, camping, and the outdoors in general. John was also a member of the VFW in Indian Orchard and the Elks Lodge in Chicopee. He was retired from the United States Post office. John leaves his loving wife of 66 years, Patricia (Skarzynski); his daughters: Linda Page of Stafford Springs Ct., Judith McGowan and her husband David of Southampton; three grandchildren: Kate Erickson and her husband Thomas of Southampton; Andrew Page and his wife Amy of North Yarmouth, ME; and James Page and his girlfriend Amanda LaPointe of Midland Park, NJ; and two great-grandchildren, Emma and Abigail Erickson, as well as Richard Santuccio of Wethersfield, CT, a longtime family friend. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2013, assembling at 9:15 am at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services and proceeding to Our Lady of Sacred Heart Church for a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 am, followed by Rights of Committal at St. Aloysius Cemetery. Our Dearest Pat & families,

Our lives will never be the same. When I look over to your house, I can imagine seeing John peering through the window to make sure all is well over here. We always took comfort in knowing that he was there looking out for us. Now his chair lies empty, and we both feel a vast void in our hearts. We miss John very much and are saddened by his sudden departure from this earth. Our hearts go out to you and your family, and we wish you many fond memories of the Good Times you spent with your beloved John. May John rest in peace in the arms of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

We send you our Deepest, Heartfelt Sympathy.

Missing you deeply and sending you all our love,

Pattie & Mike

Dear Aunt Pat & Jude, Linda & families, our hearts are broken with your loss of Uncle John. Memories of camping, swimming at the lake near your home, you both being at my dads final fairwell....Uncle John being a sweetheart & checking on my Dad when Mom & Teddy passed to show comfort. Being the best man at my parents wedding! Seeing the two of you at the Golden Corral, always the bright and smiling couple! Uncle John will be missed, his smile & eyes sparkled & he always had a wonderful sense of humor! I know Uncle John is now in heaven with many other family members. Peace, Love, and tranquility during this time of loss. God bless!
