Patty,
My very first best friend, I just found out about Louie's passing and am heart broken for you and your family. I do not know what else to do except to wrap you in my thoughts and ask God to keep His arms around you. Rest in the knowing that you shared life with a good man, one who made wonderful memories for you. The memories can not be taken away. Only time passing will help. I am so sorry that I will not be able to be at the funeral, but would love to see you as soon as you are able.

I share in your family's grief at this very, very sad time. Lou was such an upstanding guy! His absence leaves a genuinely huge void in so many of our lives.

I have so many wonderful memories during our times in Florida.

The love and respect he showed to you, dear Pat, and everyone in your family has left an indelible impression on me forever. I'll miss his kindness and gentle fun-loving teasing.

You are all in my mind a lot and my most sincere prayers are truly with you during these difficult days.
