Patricia Glemboski Obituary

Patricia Glemboski SUFFIELD, CT - Patricia (Doshier) Glemboski, 77, of Suffield, wife of the late Stanley J. Glemboski Sr., died peacefully on Friday, July 12, 2013, at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, surrounded by her family. She was born in San Diego, CA, daughter of the late Leo and Yvonne (Martineau) Doshier. Patricia grew up in Thayer, MO and was a graduate of Westwego High School in Westwego, LA. She went on to graduate from the St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing with the Class of 1958. She worked as a Registered Nurse at St. Francis Hospital for over 20 years. Patricia then went to work for Kimberly Hall and Bickford Health Care. She was married to her husband Stanley on September 6, 1958 and together they settled in Suffield, where she has lived for the past 55 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Church and in her younger years, active with the Girl Scouts. Patricia was a kind, caring, loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed. Her family wishes to extend a special thank you to the special angel's in Patricia's life, her home health aides, Kim, Jackie, Karen and Ann, friends, Cookie, Kolleen and the CICU nurses, Danielle and Arlene. She leaves her daughter, Pamela Glemboski, and her son, Stanley J. Glemboski, Jr. and his wife Cindy and their children, Sabrina Rose, Brandon Donald and Samuel Beckett Glemboski all of Suffield. Family and friends may gather on Wednesday, July 17, 2013, 9 a.m., at the Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home, 443 East St. (Rt. 159) Suffield; followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. from St. Mary Church, Windsor Locks. Burial will be private at the request of her family. Her family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 16, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Suffield Emergency Aid Association, 450 South St., Suffield, CT 06078 and or St. Francis Care Foundation 95 Woodland St., Hartford, CT 06105.
