To Daryl and Jason and their families and to my siblings Claire Klekotka, Jean Clegg and Phil Kirby, we are going to miss your dad and our baby brother but we will carry thoughts of love and fond remembrances in our hearts.

I remember as a kid, Kirby pulling into our driveway in his cruiser to talk & hang out with my dad. This was a regular occurrence! What a nice, genuine man. My dad and all of us will miss him terribly.

To the wonderful family of the Kirbys. My families deepest sympathy goes out to you all. I met Dick one day at the Lil peach in Chicopee, not too long ago, he was playing Keno. We had a good laugh when he asked me how are those tomato plants growing, if you know what I mean. He was a special police officer in the town of South Hadley. He understood the citizens of this town and where they were coming from didn't see any prejudices from him. Speaking for my wife's family the Jagodowskis and my family the Opalenik's he was a wonderful man, he will be sorrowfully missed.Truly, Steve and Diane Opalenik
