Matthew was my roomate on the cruise ship in Hawaii. He was a man of honorr and a great person. I haven't seen mat since i left Hawaii but i remeber him as a really cool individual. My prayers are with the family and his wife and son. I am thankful for time i did know Mat...rest in peace brahh

I am sorry to learn of the death of your Matthew Abbate. I can't imagine what this has been like for you. I never met Matthew, but I am very thankful for his service to our country.

My mother was a Sergeant Major in the US Army Band, serving 24 years. I have deep respect for those in the military.

Dear Abbate family,
I had the privelege of attending boot camp with Sgt Abbate. Hotel Company Platoon 2073. He was a great leader and will be missed. God bless you all and i am sorry for your loss.
