To the family of Sgt. Matthew Abbate:
Matthew gave the ultimate sacrific and will be held in the hearts of Americans forever. I cannot and will not let our fallen heroes be forgotten. My deepest sympathy to you. "Some gave all."

I knew Matt for a few short years at Buchanan High. I had the fortunate oppurtunity to get to know him as a friend outside of school and till he moved with dylan to HI. I am proud to say I was a friend that knew him. I will always think fondly of those times and of Matt. I still catch myself speaking the dialeez(a language matt and some of us came up with). Rest easy, LOve you BRo
