As the scriptures say, "We know not the day nor the hour." I am sadden to learn of the death of Mayor Jackson and it is very ironic that I not only sent him a personal letter several weeks ago but I am reading a book which chronicles his family's dynamic impact on the city of Atlanta entitled, "Where Peachtree Meets Sweet Auburn". I encourage everyone to read this book to learn what made this grandson of the legendary John Wesley Dobbs become a "Lion of A Man" as described by Mayor Shirley Franklin. Rest in peace great warrior!
