Our condolances to the family of Katie
Hayes from her cousin Marge Kemp Secontine. Many childhood memories of Katie Murphy. Blessings to Family.
We were so very saddened to hear of Katy's passing. After many years of hearing about her and her family, we finally had a chance to meet Katy in Minneapolis, thanks to her sister Jane, who is a close friend of ours.
Subsequently, Katie came to Winnipeg in October 2011, where she celebrated Thanksgiving with our family and friends, at our home. Everyone was struck by her kind and gentle nature, as well as by her delightful sense of humour. When we heard of her passing, the image that came immediately to mind was that of her sitting at the table in our dining room, holding up a large family photo, and pointing out each of her children and grandchildren, and beaming as she did so. She was such a proud mother and grandmother...Our heartfelt condolences to you all.

My deepest condolences to the family. I worked with Katy for a number of years and enjoyed every minute of her company. I also am a Michigander and Ann Arbor was a topic we often shared.
Katy was a fun employee who loved her sewing. She will be missed. Our best to her family and friends during this sad time.
I didn't know Katy, but her sister, Jane, talked about her often to me, and I know she was a very special and much loved lady.
My deepest sympathy to all the family. Please remember that as long as you keep Katy in your hearts, she will be with you forever.

Deepest sympathy to the Family. Katie was my camp counselor many, many years ago and she and I have crossed paths a number of times over the years. She was a fine Christian lady - always kind and loving.
Fare thee well, dear sister. I am sure you are safe, and free of pain. I will miss you forever, and those midnight phone calls we had. And all the years of our lives we shared.
My condonlences to the children and grandchildren, and great-grandchild, too.
Oh, how I'll miss you!
So very sorry for your loss. Please accept our sympathy.
