So sorry to hear of Joe's passing. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Joe and Darlene Johnson
Dot, Carol and Samantha, sorry to hear of Joe. What a great soul. As we walked out of the Little Brown Jug on our way to Navy "A" school in Maryland back in 69 or 70, Uncle Joe says to my dad, "there they go Lou, Admiral Halsey and Admiral Nimitz. God bless our country". Well, Admiral Halsey, say hi to your dad and mine and uncle Max. Be seeing ya.

Sam and family,
Barczy was a very close friend to my dad, and I got to spend a lot of time with them over the years. Penn State, Army Navy, NYC trips, Joe was always made the younger guys like myself feel part of the group. That quality is something that has been brought up many times over the past few days as we all mourn. He will truly be missed.
Dear Sam, I was so saddened to read about your Dad. I know how close you were to your Dad and your Yankee connection. The memories in time will bring smiles rather than tears. My deepest sypathies to your family. k2

Dear Dot, Carol and Samantha, I was so saddened to hear of Joe's passing. He was a good friend and I will always miss him. I could probably write a short story on the life memories we shared. Down here they have two words to describe a person like Joe, wide open, that's how he lived his life. He was liked and loved by all who had the privilege to meet him. Sincere sympathy and love to you all, Woody and Mona Woodring
