Hello My Dear;
Karen, best friend since Middle School..May God Bless Us with..Peace,Love,Joy,Happiness.Health and Prosperity!!and if we were going anywhere ..a Safe Journey...as We always said..As we lived our lives.. we laughed, we cried, we sang, we danced, we played, we lived.. We went through everything life has to offer...and survived almost everything... Until almost two years ago a tragic incident left you with seven broken bones throughout your body, then later a diagnosis of terminal blood cancer, and two more broken bones. Shocking, unbelievable, devastating you faced everyday as a gift from God doing your best through excruciating pain as your body tried to regain it's balance and repair. Your wonderful spirit, beautiful smile, demeanor, and faith held fast as family, close friends stood by you, looked after you, and comforted you with loving compassion. We made it to the very end my friend, Jasmine and I miss You, Sweetie!!God needed you in Heaven, I understand since George's passing that God needed you more than we.. that love you and remain behind, See you soon, Karen, your forever friend, huggs & kisses, love, Nora
I just learned of Karen's passing. I am so sorry. She taught me piano. I'll never forget how she supported my acting by coming to one of my performances. I am so sorry she's gone.
Even though I only had the opportunity to meet you a select few times, I'll never forget your kind smile and your wonderful personality. You made people feel comfortable around you and easily made friends wherever you went. Now you have the best friend of all: God. May your suffering be over and your new life begin. This world won't be the same without you.
Karen you changed so many lives with your teaching, love of music, dancing, cooking, art, smile, faith, beauty, energy, and kindness. There is so much more I could say. You had a way of seeing the good in people and encouraging that. You were quick to forgive and forget. I was so lucky to have spent so much time with you. You taught me so many things but most of all to believe in my own talents. Karen your love of God, water, and nature is inspiring. You had a true love for the small things like a sunset or a walk. Your wonderful, radiant soul lives on in the Kingdom of Heaven. Dancing and Making Music for all of Heaven.
God needed you, right now, more than us, but we will see you again.
Love, Joe Walsh
I am so saddened to hear this. What a sweet, beautiful girl, and then woman. I grew up directly across the street from Karen and she was always so friendly and kind, even to a punky kid a few years younger. Always found the time to say hello, no matter where I'd run into her. Karen was also so nice to my parents, Bill and Claire Scully, over the years. I'm happy to hear that Karen found comfort and strength in her faith in God during her last days. Karen, you will be missed.
We will miss Karen deeply for her happiness, smile, love for life, but she has moved on and is without pain.
We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
2 Corinthians 5:8
my thoughts for your family will miss you
To Karen's friends and family,
In the last 1 or so years of Karen's life, she had surrendered and was closer to Jesus than ever. She asked my friends and I to pray for a miracle for her. She wanted to stay alive and be cured of her incurable cancer for one thing, and one thing only, not for herself, but for selfless love, to say the name Jesus to someone so that they too could make it to heaven. In her last year, she had said the name Jesus to a number of people, and she had mentioned that one of them found the Lord. Right now, although missed, Karen, is in a timeless state of ultra Holy euphoria and Holy love beyond comprehension, for ever and ever, after accepting Jesus as her Savior!!! from James Rathman (on Facebook-for contact info)
My closest friend and confidant all these years. It's still very surreal to me. I'll watch the movie "Beaches" tonight (that's you and me, girl) and cry a river of tears. Please know that Jasmine is in good hands, and along with your family, you'll be reunited some day. Goodbye sweet girl. Rest in Peace.
Karen such a soft spoken, loving friend and how you loved to dance.
Dancing all night long your hair swinging back and forth, your beautiful smile, your eyes always saying come dance with me. No one had to ask where's Karen we all knew, ‘She's Dancing.”
Now you're dancing in heaven and one day we will again dance with you.
My condolences to Karen's family, this is such a shock to us all, she was a sweet and caring person.
I am so shocked to hear of Karen's passing. We were majorettes together at Allen and she was the kindest and sweetest girl. My sympathy to Karen's family.

There is one thing you gave me that no one can ever take. Your eternal love. I will always love you. I wish I could of been with you your final days. May God wrap his loving arms around you and all the angels and saints bless you. Until we meet again, you are forever in my heart.
My dear cousin and friend. I will always remember our times boating and enjoying Ocean City. It was because of you that I finally got my own place in OC.
And I am hoping that it was because of me that I inspired you to acquire your own boat.
You always were so gracious and kind. Such a remarkable quality. Beautiful inside and out with your almond shaped green eyes! I will miss you greatly.
I have tuned Karen's piano for many years. I always enjoyed talking with her whenever I came to tune her piano. She was more than just a customer. She was a friend. I will miss her very much. God bless you Karen now that you are at peace in His glory.
With deepest sympathy... So sad so young so much to offer, do and see yet in life. Continue the memories and times shared and special thoughts. A better place and time now. Bless.
We never knew each other well, in fact I think we were a year a part at Allen. But i remember how friendly you were and how radiant and how you always had a smile. I would see you at school and sometimes even run into you downtown near your store. You always had small talk and more smiles to share... beautiful inside and out forever. God bless you Karen and my prayers to the family.

Our Deepest sympathies to Karen's loved ones. She was such a beautiful amazing person both inside and out. She sparkled and lit the room with her presence. She will be truely missed by all that were lucky enough to have known her. Colleen Duser and Michael DeRemer
Karen, I don't want to believe this is true... How many times did my entire lesson just fly by because we were more "friends" than Student/Teacher... I will FOREVER remember the conversations. The "secrets" and makeup tips shared ~ your beautiful home, & your patience during your instruction. Whatever caused this, may you now
Rest In Peace. xo. Jennifer.
