Another year has passed without our beloved Margit , always a pleasant smile and a kind word for everyone she met whenever we were out together. She will be forever in my thoughts and prayer.
Margit, You are with us each day. Your positive influence was shared by many of us. We are appreciative of your kindness, loving nature and endless positive outlook. There is always a way with Margit Kinard, if you tell her there isn't ~ she will find one. Thank you for instilling these memories in those who love you and appreciate your life. Blessings and Love Forever!

Just found out about the passing of Margit. I will always have a special place in my heart for her, Margit was one of a kind genuine in every way she always had a kind word and smile for everyone.
I always look forward to seeing her each week, she would always make my day with her "Oh Crap" when things weren't going right, and one of her favourite saying was "I just want my teeth to outlive me," seems like she got her wish. Again you have my deepest sympathy and remember she is still living in your hearts.
There are times in our life when we are utterly unaware of the effect that someone special has had in our own lives until they taken from us. for the past 14 years, I was blessed to share many wonderful moments with " Momma K ". Margit had a special gift for listening with her heart. Her giving nature and unselfish ways were a blessing to everyone who knew her. She affected my life on so many levels. I am truly a better person because of her. Momma K brightened the world for the rest of us. She will be missed. Love Marie Ferguson
Mom has given me--and also those around us--so many happy memories to treasure! She understood and demonstrated how to make any occasion special. She dedicated her energy to enjoying life while making a positive difference in the lives of all those around her. I (we) have SO much to thank you for!! Love always,
She was a very "spunky" lady and I was blessed to know her. I am sad to see her pass away but happy to know she's ready to give everyone in heaven the run about.
She was another grandmother to me and I am glad to have known her.
What a lovely lady. My son Owen is friends with her grandson Ian. I met Margit many times when Ian was taking her to the grocery store or just out for a drive. She was a lot of fun and always had her finger on the pulse of what was happening in the world.
Margit was a very nice lady & a dear friend to me. She called me her little N.C. Buddy the first time I ever met her. She was such a sweet & gracious lady. I will always remember her kindness .
I will miss seeing her when come to visit her son Richard & his wife Marie. My prayers & thoughts are with you Richard, Marie & family.

Margit was always so warm and welcoming with a love of life and a delightful sense of humor that will be sorely missed by all of those she touched.
I will miss Margit so very much.Everytime we talked the conversation always came around to recipes and she'd always say "you could add wine to that..and have a glass yourself".A toast to you Margit I will never forget you.You knew how to make people laugh!
A loving and strong woman. I will always remember the wonderful times we shared cooking and the travels to Europe/Alaska. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
Our hearts are full of fond memories!
Margit - The Lady who always had a positive attitude. She showed us that there was always a bright side. She enjoyed life and helped others to as well. Momma Kinard, we thank you so much!
I am so sorry to hear of Margit's passing. I often thought of her while in my nursing journey (she provided a lot of encouragement to me while in school). I never forgot the talks and the many laughs we had on the rehab unit. She was an exceptional woman and she will be greatly missed. Again I have not seen her in about 3-4 yrs but the times I shared with Margit are not forgetable. My thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time.
Most Mom's are special, but Margit was extra special! Graduating from Temple in the early 1940's with a BA in Finance, she was one of the original " independant women."
Margit was always there for you. We'll miss her dearly!!
IN THE LATE 20S AND EARLY 30S, we lived at 43 North 13th. My brother Charles and sister Dolly and I played with the Kinard kids, and we were members of the Church. The family was outgoing and likeable, and Harold was a charismatic person, as was his wife. Richard Smith, Hollywood Park, TX
I am sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. I have fond memories of her and her amazingly fantastic watermelon birthday cake! She was always a gracious hostess every time I came over to visit you when we were kids. The vision of Snoopy dancing merrily on the roof of your home each Christmas has become permament memory for me. And you KNOW how much I loved swimming indoors in your pool. Know that you and your family are in our hearts and prayers.
