I've been pondering what to write as everyone before me has written all of our thoughts so well. This is a trying time, a time of shock, sadness, and mourning. Joshua has impacted many of our lives. We have all laughed due to (at least) one of his jokes, become intrigued by one of his war stories, or admired him for his drive. Josh wasn't perfect, but none of us are. He was a friend, a boyfriend, a husband, a father, a son, a brother, (etc...) and of course, a marine. He was someone we all cared about in one capacity or another. We will all take him with us as we continue with our lives- knowing that he is in a better place...and even though that place is not with us here, and as hard as it is to grasp, he is somewhere better looking down on us.
Brian, Nancy, Jen, and of course, the rest of his family- we are all here for you. If you ever need anything, all you have to do is ask.
