Haggerty family:

The Dieruff High School Alumni Association offers our heartfelt condolences on the passing of your father. May memories comfort you in your time of sorrow.

Uncle Jim was an amazing soul. I always enjoyed the stories He, Uncle Gene or my Dad would tell. Years ago, the smell of a cigar always told me Uncle Jim was visiting. He made the neatest little gadgets, by just tinkering with wood or metal. I have many memories of visiting the Irving St house, or winning a stuffed animal at the church fairs. My most valued memory was the 2009 & 2011 Haggerty Family reunion. I regret not having enough memories but I will treasure what I have and do my best to make new memories with my cousins.
To my Cousins: there is nothing I can say that will ease the pain, emptiness or lost feeling. It was Kath's kind words to Mollie after we lost mom that help us understand the loss of a mother.
May God Bless you all and give strength and guidance during this difficult time. Please know that Dad, Mollie, and I are here for you all and if there any way I can help you with anything please contact us. I hope we can see more of each other, for good times.
The only comfort you may find at this time is that he is now in Heaven with his beloved Kay. Together again! Uncle Jim will be welcomed by friends and family, looking forward to seeing his grandson. How lucky they are to be with our Lord in Heaven.
How blessed you all are/we all are knowing they are looking down on us with a smile. They are watching over Melissa, Elizabeth, Michael Jr, Emily, Kaitlin, Matthew, and Lauren as they grow into young adults. May God Bless you all!
All my love -- Sharon (Haggerty) Thomas
