Julia Rabenold
Julia Rabenold, 91, of Catasauqua passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at Weston Village, Northampton. She was the wife of the late Harvey H.J. Rabenold who died June 18, 1975. Julia was born October 6, 1922 in Northampton and she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Vilma (Kovach) Bodo. Julia worked at the Universal Pants Factory for many years. She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, Northampton. Julia enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, her pets and spending time with her family and friends. Survivors: daughter, Sandra Spangenberg and her husband Walter Eachus, of Bath, son, Harvey B. Rabenold, of Catasauqua, sisters, Margaret Billera, of Allentown and Vilma Crawford, of Northampton. Julia was predeceased by her brothers, Stephen and Ernest and a sister, Irene. Services: Funeral Services will be Tuesday, February 18, at 11 a.m. with Reverend Heather Kurtz officiating in the Reichel Funeral Home 326 E. 21st St. Northampton. Family and friends may call Tuesday 9:30 to 11 in the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Allen Union Cemetery, Northampton. Online condolences may be submitted to www.reichelfuneralhome.com.
